During this event, ESSCA School of Management in Shanghai will welcome panelists to share their experience and insights on Performance Management challenges in the context of mainland China: how can companies best achieve their strategic objectives? How can they leverage on their human capital to help meet their financial targets? How do people-based management and system-based management play a role in performance management practices in China ? What should be the priorities for managers and corporate headquarters to build sound performance management in China?
 
For this event, we will welcome:
 
  • Philippe Pierrot, CEO, Chase Partners, was General Manager and Shareholder Representative of ALTRAN group activities   He was the Director and a member of the supervisory boards of Arthur D Little in Asia. He supervised (?)six offices:Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, KL, Singapore and China from September 2003 till June 2008. He will provide us with valuable insights about those challenges faced by large multinational corporations in Asia along their growth process to achieve their performance targets
 
  • Cecile Francais, China Finance Controller, Treves, will share her experience with us implementing performance monitoring tools and systems in China in the automotive sector
 
  • Brian Schwarz is a Visiting Professor at ESSCA School of Management in Shanghai. He has also been teaching at various other prestigious Chinese and international universities such as Jiao Tong University or East China Normal University. Brian Schwarz has a wide-ranging academic expertise of doing business in China. He will  enrich the panel debate on trends in academic research on cross cultural management developments in China as related to performance management issues in organizations.
 
  • Jean-Yves Le Corre is the Director of Bestofmanagement.com community website/  Jean Yves Le Corre has been a consultant based in China for 6 years, helping executives and organizations in implementing effective control, auditing as well as financial and operational management practices.
